Absolutely the softest for your baby, August 23, 2007 By This review is from: SnuggleWool Lambs Wool Pad, Crib 28x52 (Baby Product) I loved this for my child in his crib. It was incredibly soft and I knew he was getting the gentlest thing next to his body. My only advice is to use it after the drooling stage. Otherwise the baby drools, then the wool attaches to their face and they can get annoyed. I also loved fleece sheets to make it nice and cozy. This definitely needs to be washed on cold/gentle, and dried on NO HEAT or hung dry. I even resold this at a great price, I would highly recommend it.

Very snuggly!, January 5, 2011 This review is from: SnuggleWool Lambs Wool Pad, Crib 28x52 (Baby Product) I was concerned about which lambs wool pad to buy because some had reviews that complained of a "barnyard" smell. That is NOT THE CASE with this one--no barnyard smell! It is very soft, but I didn't feel it was so dense to make it unsafe for my daughter's crib (she's 10 months). Her sleep has improved some too after using this--it definitely makes her super firm mattress more snuggly!
