This review is from: Sensus 5lb 2" Twin XL Memory Foam Mattress Pad (Kitchen) I purchased this pad after reading reviews that 5-lb memory foam was the best. I ordered 2 in. thick XL Twin size to fit over my son's dorm mattress. It was approximately 3 in. too long, but a pair of heavy duty kitchen shears cut right through to make it fit perfectly. I covered both pad and mattress with a Newpoint 250 thread count pad, also purchased from Amazon. I left campus confident that I had made a great investment in my son's education. A well rested student should be ready for classes. I highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to improve their bed. One tip: Spread pad out in fresh air for a couple of days prior to using it. There is a mild chemical smell when you first open the package, but it goes away with fresh air.
