Easy to assemble, great to use. The one thing keeping it from getting 5 stars is that it's a bit too soft for weights. Leaving your dumbbells, even light ones will dent it. It eventually comes back so it's not a big deal. I bought three packs (total 12 squares) to create a large enough surface to for P90X, it works like a charm.

We purchased 2 sets of these mats as a cushion for our 9 month old for our living room (we have a rug, but minimal padding) who is learning to walk. Very pleased with the product so far. There was no smell when we opened the packaging (as noted by reviewers of OTHER products). Actually, going to order 1 more set to finish out his play area. Based on other reviews, I figure we'll be able to use these mats very easily for other things once he's out of this phase. (I noticed on OTHER products, there was mention of stickiness on the wood floors. Well, part of these paddings are on our wood floors and so far, I can see no residue). Very pleased we purchased to help soften the blow of our baby's falls.

These blue mats are awesome! I recently purchased them for my sons and they found them to be very versatile. My oldest not only uses them for working-out but his friends now have a place to sleep other than our hardwood floor. My youngest son is enjoying them very much as he practices karate on them. I can't wait to purchase more, I absolutely love them and so does the rest of the family.
